Being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) can be a frightening experience. It might be the first time you have heard of NHL and it is probably the first time you have had to think about having a serious illness. There can be a lot of new things to understand and new words that you haven’t heard before. Your family and friends will naturally want to understand what you are going through and may have a lot of questions that are difficult to answer. There can be a lot to deal with.

Lymphoma Life is designed to provide you with a clear, understandable guide to NHL and its treatment.

Treatments are available today that can relieve the symptoms of NHL and prevent your disease from progressing for as long as possible. There is a lot to take in, but Lymphoma Life helps to explain the treatments and discusses how you will be treated together with the side effects that you may experience and how best to deal with them.

It includes advice from people who have had treatment before and suggests ways to help manage your life while you are having treatment.

Lymphoma Life is a useful place to learn about NHL and its treatment, but you should remember that it is not a complete reference guide, nor is it the only place to find answers to your questions. NHL is different in each person, so it is impossible to provide one complete guide for everyone. That’s why if you have any questions or if there is anything that you are worried about, however small it seems, you must ask your doctor or nurse straight away.
